More pictures form the party...

On the bikes: Lindsey, Auggie and CeCe. I don't know the name of the little baby Dayla is holding, but I know he is Shawn's brother....

In the bounce house: Auggie, Kia, Manny and Kevin. Apparently Auggie was nervous to stand close to the entrance. He liked to bouce, but got nervous and upset if too many children were boucing a lot...he's a very cautious little boy sometimes...

Waiting for the Cupcakes....Lindsey, Auggie, Adam, Manny & Kevin.

A pose picture. Auggie was kinda done bouncing at this point. He said he bounced too much... Posted by Picasa

Auggie's Party at Dalya's...

Here are some photos from the party at daycare. I got a bounce house for the children to play in , and ironically the power was out until 12pm. Luckily I had it for the whole day, so they did get some time to play in it...
I had brought some ballons for a game to play with the kids, but they were having soo much more fun running around kicking them, hitting each other with them and tossing them up that i didn't do the game. Auggie had a blow-up pirate sword that he was using to smash the ballons with (and of course his friends here and there)

Here is Kaelie and Alex, two of the kids that Auggie talks about a lot...

And while I wasn't expecting them, his freinds brought him presents. I was kinda shocked...he made out with a ton of new toys, mostly cars which is great. We are going to be busy writting thank you notes this weekend!!

Cisco (Auggie's partner in crime) was super excited to watch him open the present he got for him...

Happy Birthday to me...

Yeap. I had a birthday. I'm old, but I got some nifty stuff...
First I got a new Digital Camera, of which i used to take the photos of the pretty flowers Bette sent me, and the coolio Strawberry bouquet my mom sent to my work, and of the pretty mini rose bush Auggie & Hayden got for me...woo-hoo flowers!!

Here's a Picture of the cupcakes I made for Auggie's party at daycare... I put cold coins in them for "Pirate Booty"

A low key weekend...

well, no pictures to post this time, left my camera at home.
But we had a great weekend! very mellow with no major plans, which doesn't happen often.

on Sat we went to a public pool in SJ. It seemed to be pretty new, and had three different pools!!! There was a great kiddie pool that was very shallow, and the kids could just walk into it, no stairs. there was another pool with a slide and water guns, and a third pool for lap swimmers. it was a very nice facility, I only wish they had diaper changing tables in the locker rooms. It seems like a no-brainer for a public pool that caters to young children!! eh, can't have everything I guess. Auggie really liked it beacuse the pool was heated. He is spoiled by his swim class in the heated pool, he won't swim in regular ones (like the free one in our complex!!!)

Then on sunday, we did more nothing until the evening when we met up with my Mom, Brothers, Aunt & Cousin & Grandpa for my birthday dinner. it was yummy, and Hayden was full of energy, but sadly, they were out of my favorite pie in the whole world....Marie Calender's Chocolate satin pie. Raquel was crushed too...but it was still a good dinner.

Not too much this time. Next weekend promises to be full of events...Auggie's birthday mainly, and probably more visits to the pool!! (hey, it's cheaper than running the AC!)

Flowers...
This WAS our forest in front of our apt. Sadly, the gardeners deemed them weeds and tore them out...

"More of my crazy mom...always stealing my spotlight..."

"My toes make me laugh"

ok...so it's at about age 3 that kids become smart-alec's. We told him to put his clothes on, but we didn't specify HOW...

Here are some photos from my Grandmother's wake. The whole Graeber/Burgess family got togehter after the funeral at a resturant my Grandma picked out. It was nice to see soo many of my cousins that I havn't seen for years. It's a shame that we probably won't see much of each other in the future, as my Grandmother was the Matriarch of the familiy...
These are of Auggie's 2nd cousins that are about the same age as him...

Here is Zachary, who is 2, trying to find his belly button..

Brandon, Auggie and Zachary coloring together like nice cousins...(Hayden was fast asleep)

In order to stay entertained, Zachary built towers with coffee creamers...He later added sugar packets..

Brandon, one month younger than Auggie, knows what cameras are all about!!! Posted by Picasa

Cory & Kari's wedding...

Our good freinds from Cal Poly finally got married!!!
Hayden and I stayed home for this one. I had to take the CSET for school...
But from what I heard, Justin & Auggie had a blast. We will be seeing the newlyweds in August when we go down to Morro Bay... wish we were all there..

Like mother, like son... ;-)
(it's apple cider...don't worry. He preffers Corona anyway...)

I honestly have no idea what this picture is about...

Auggie apperently made freinds with the band guys...(big surprise). I think he might have been the only child there, as no one else has had children yet... (i think)

The infamous Cory & Kari...they are such great peeps Posted by Picasa
