I have a Bed Bath & Beyond card that I am going to use to buy that lemon zester!
(yes, it bugs me that much!)
Besides, I think they lose $$ after a year.

actually gift card dont lose value or expire EVER in the state of CA... FYI
oh and.. cheating? I think you're mind is in the right place and that's what really counts... but on the other hand, gift card or not, you are contributing to the demand for manufacture of new products... so it counts.
doh! I figured it might be cheating just a bit...
I actually didn't get the zester thingy...cuz your right, I could probably find something like that at a thrift shop perhaps...

There is a certain level of "fun" involved with shopping. THIS is the part I need to unlearn, in a way.
thrift shopping has been fun for me, cause you find unique stuff.. pretty much always unique within that store, and sometimes just way cooler than anything you could find new, and at a super deal!
